NOVELTY - The sensor has a core whose outer surface is formed with a cladding layer. Two sides of the cladding layer are formed with two D-shaped grooves that are symmetrically arranged together, where an inner bottom wall of the D-shaped groove is selected as a polished surface. The polishing surface is arranged with a gold-silver composite film. A surface of the gold-silver composite film is formed with a graphene layer, where the gold-silver composite film comprises a gold film and a silver film. A spectrometer is connected to an end of the core by a single mode fiber. Another end of the core is connected with an erbium doped fiber amplifier through the single mode fiber. USE - Graphene composite film based double D-type optical fiber sensor. ADVANTAGE - The sensor is inexpensive and small in volume, and has prolonged service life and high sensitivity. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for a graphene composite film based double D-type optical fiber sensor manufacturing method.
