NOVELTY - The device has a pair of electrodes (2), graphene layer (1), and silicon on insulator (SOI) substrate (6). The optical coupling waveguide (3), one dimensional PCNC (4) and N type doped region (5) are set on SOI substrate in order. The graphene layer is set up in the light coupling waveguide, PCNC and N type doped region. The two electrodes are respectively arranged on the graphene layer above the N type doped region and the optical coupling waveguide. USE - Photonic crystal beam cavity (PCNC) based nano graphene electric light modulating device for use in optical fiber communication system and optical interconnection system. ADVANTAGE - The size of PCNC based nano graphene electric light modulating device is reduced, the good regulating performance is ensured, and the wide application range is realized.
