NOVELTY - Preparing metal-based graphene composite material, comprises mixing graphene slurry and metal powder to form a mixed slurry, and forming the mixed slurry into a metal-based graphene composite material by chemical vapor deposition in an oxygen-free environment of 980-1050℃. The metal powder is copper powder, nickel powder or mixed metal powder of copper powder and nickel powder. The method utilizes argon gas, and growth gas which is methane and hydrogen. USE - The method is useful for preparing metal-based graphene composite material. ADVANTAGE - The metal-based graphene composite material has excellent conductive thermal conductivity anti-oxidant and anti-corrosion characteristics. The method is simple, has low cost, and improves the performance of the original metal material. The metal powder is semi-solid and semi-soluble, dispersibility is better than graphene powder, the curing amount of the graphene is 2-5 wt.%, and the amount of graphene added to the graphene powder is less, not only can prevent the metal powder sintering agglomeration phenomenon, but also will not influence the comprehensive performance of electric contact due graphene, and there is no need for subsequent cleaning the anti-sintering agent, at the same time, the graphene slurry contains a large amount of water, oxidation-reduction process occurs at high temperature, the metal-based surface graphene-shaped nuclear site is reduced, graphene single crystal domain is increased, and the comprehensive performance of the metal-based graphene electric contact is improved.
