NOVELTY - High and low temperature melting temperature bicomponent polyester fiber is claimed. The bicomponent polyester fiber is prepared by co-extruding low melting temperature material and high melting temperature material into A zone and B zone of a screw extruder respectively. The A zone and B zone are arranged based on a certain rule. At least one of the material with low melting temperature and the material with high melting temperature has conductivity, and the material with low melting temperature melts before the material with high melting temperature. USE - The biomponent polyester fiber is useful in preparation of self-conducting oil filter material (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The bicomponent polyester fiber: has electrical conductivity; can adapt to the process of gradually heating up during the preparation of self-conducting oil filter material; ensures the other fibers of the filter material can be fully bonded to the polyester fiber, which greatly improves the uniform distribution of the fiber in the filter material, greatly reduces the surface resistivity of the filter material, and greatly improves the conductivity; and can reduce the voltage of the filter material caused by the accumulation of charges during use, and avoid the breakdown of the filter material.
