NOVELTY - A metal-doped silicon oxide composite material comprises silicon oxide, a metal element, and a graphene layer and carbon layer coated on the outer side of silicon oxide. USE - Metal-doped silicon oxide composite material is used in battery. ADVANTAGE - Graphene is generated in situ on the surface of silicon oxide powder, which is more uniform and effective than direct physical mixing of graphene or graphene oxide. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of the metal-doped silicon oxide composite material, which involves adding silicon oxide, humus and metal gluconate to deionized water, dispersing, spray-drying obtained dispersion to obtain a powder, and heat-treating.
