▎ 摘  要

NOVELTY - Functionalized graphene sheets (S1) have a carbon to oxygen molar ratio of at least 23:1. USE - As an functionalized graphene sheet useful in polymer composite or resin (claimed) such as semiconductors; in films, molded articles; and in conjunction with a binder for forming coatings (including inks and paints) or films. ADVANTAGE - The functionalized graphene sheet forms a composite having an electrical conductivity of at least 106 (preferably at least 100, especially at least 104) S/m. The functionalized graphene sheet has bulk density of 40-0.1 kg/m3; and has improved electrical conductivity both in pure form, and/or in blends or composites with other materials, than similar materials having lower carbon to oxygen ration, including ratios of 20:1. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) a polymer composite or resin comprising the functionalized graphene sheets (S1) and at least one polymer; (2) making functionalized graphene sheets (S1) involving heating graphite oxide and/or functionalized graphene sheets having a carbon to oxygen ratio of less than 23:1 at a temperature of at least 750 degrees C for a time to generate functionalized graphene sheets (S1).
