NOVELTY - Preparing graphene comprises dispersing graphite oxide in an organic solvent to obtain oxidized graphite suspension, reacting with a format reagent, mixing and refluxing the suspension, and reacting. USE - The method is useful for preparing graphene. ADVANTAGE - The method can control the quality of the graphene by adjusting the format reagent, reaction time and reaction temperature; utilizes easily available raw materials, is economical, easy and simple; and has high reproducibility, and is suitable for large-scale production. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for graphene prepared by the above method.
