NOVELTY - Synthesis of graphene comprises catalytically reacting anthracene in organic solvent under protective atmosphere, separating polyanthracene reaction product, and annealing at 300-800 degrees C in protective atmosphere to obtain the target product, where catalyst comprises a catalytically active material in an oxidative coupling reaction. USE - Synthesis of graphene (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method has simple technique, convenient operation, low product cost, and good repeatability and is suitable for large-scale industrial production.
