▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - Surface treatment for improving natural graphite lithium storage performance, comprises (i) ball milling natural graphite powder in a ball milling tank, (ii) etching ball milled natural graphite powder in oxygen-containing atmosphere, (iii) placing step (ii) product in a rotary furnace to grow vertical graphene sheets, and (iv) crushing and sieving step (iii) product to obtain surface-treated graphite powder. USE - The surface-treated graphite powder is useful as lithium-ion battery cathode material (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method: produces vertical graphene sheets, which enhances combination of graphite powder with matrix and current collector and improves mechanical strength, and enhances contact between active materials, which is conducive to improvement of electrical conductivity; and reduces three-dimensional graphene due to the improved conductivity and reduces amount of binder used due to increase in mechanical strength; has no conductive agent is added when preparing electrode. The surface-treated graphite powder: has high electrical conductivity; and improves mass specific capacity, and high current charge and discharge capacity. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are also included for: (1) surface-treated graphite powder, prepared by above mentioned method; and (2) manufacturing lithium-ion battery cathode material, comprising mixing surface-treated graphite powder and binder in a mass ratio of 96:4 in deionized water, stirring for 5-20 hours to obtain slurry, uniformly applying obtained slurry on the copper foil, drying and slicing to obtain final product.
