NOVELTY - Catalyst comprises an active component and a carrier. The active component is ruthenium, and the carrier is nitrogen-doped carbon or carbon nitride. USE - Catalyst for synthesizing alicyclic amine through selective hydrogenation and saturation of benzene ring-containing amine compound. ADVANTAGE - The catalyst realizes the high-activity and high-selectivity hydrogenation saturation conversion of the benzene ring-containing amine compound into the alicyclic amine under mild conditions. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for preparing catalyst, which involves: dispersing a carrier in a ruthenium precursor solution, and performing ultrasonic treatment to obtain a suspension; adding a reducing agent into the suspension to perform a reduction reaction so as to deposit ruthenium metal.
