NOVELTY - Oil-soluble graphene compound (I) are new. USE - (I) are useful in preparing antiwear additives or lubricating oil (claimed); and in lubricating oil, grease and other fields. ADVANTAGE - (I) have excellent oil solubility, excellent anti-wear performance and extreme pressure performance; dispersed in lubricating oil, and does not contain sulfur, phosphorus, chlorine and other elements harmful to the environment, and is environmentally friendly; and have simple preparation process, mild reaction conditions, and there are no requirements for chemical equipment. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Oil-soluble graphene compound of formula T-N1-R (I) are new. T = graphene oxide; R = compound containing polyisobutylene succinic anhydride structure; and N1 = aliphatic or aromatic bridged compounds with all -NH2 end groups, aliphatic or aromatic bridging compounds with all -OH end groups, aliphatic bridging compounds with -NH2 at one end and -OH at one end or aromatic bridging compounds with -NH2 at one end and -OH at one end. INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are also included for: (1) preparation of (I); and (2) lubricating oil containing oil-soluble graphene compound comprising content of oil-soluble graphene compound in lubricating oil is 10 parts per million to 2%.
