NOVELTY - A cobalt sulfide-intercalated graphene-based composite consists of a sandwich layer composed of cobalt sulfide provided between graphene sheets. The molar ratio of cobalt sulfide with respect to graphene is 1:(0.9-1.5). USE - Cobalt sulfide-intercalated graphene-based composite is used for hydrogen storage-alloy electrode. ADVANTAGE - The cobalt sulfide-intercalated graphene-based composite has maximum hydrogen storage capacity of 3.73 wt.%. Even after 50 cycles, the electrode has hydrogen storage capacity of 88% or more. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - A cobalt sulfide (Co1-xS)-intercalated graphene-based composite consists of a sandwich layer composed of cobalt sulfide provided between graphene sheets.
