NOVELTY - Biosensor comprises a substrate (10); an optical structure (30) provided on the substrate; and a cover (50) provided on the substrate and having a bridge shape that is in contact with a top surface of the substrate at both sides of the optical structure. The cover has a channel (51) extending in a first direction, the optical structure is provided inside the channel, and the optical structure is configured to capture biomaterials that travel through the channel. USE - The biosensor is useful in medical fields and environmental fields; for analyzing infectious pathogens; and for military, industry, and research. ADVANTAGE - The biosensor may use the precise nano-optical structure having the small size without various optical components such as a light source, a spectrometer, a detector, or a filter and may easily and effectively determine the presence or absence of the biomaterial through the change in optical information such as a resonance wavelength, a phase, and/or polarization.
