NOVELTY - Producing graphene modified thermal spray powder, comprises e.g. (a) weighing calcium carbonate, aluminum oxide and silicon dioxide, weighing alcohol, mixing powder and alcohol in a planetary ball mill for predetermined time until the alcohol is completely volatilized, stirring in a corundum boat, adding into a vacuum high temperature furnace under temperature for predetermined time, and (b) weighing graphene oxide, and ultrasound dispersing in absolute ethyl alcohol to prepare the graphene oxide dispersion. USE - The powder is useful for producing residual stress coating material (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The powder has uniform granularity, high purity and high graphite content. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Producing graphene modified thermal spray powder, comprises (a) weighing calcium carbonate, aluminum oxide and silicon dioxide, weighing alcohol, mixing powder and alcohol in a planetary ball mill for predetermined time until the alcohol is completely volatilized, stirring in a corundum boat, adding into a vacuum high temperature furnace under temperature for predetermined time, (b) weighing graphene oxide, and ultrasonic dispersing in anhydrous ethanol to prepare the graphene oxide dispersion, (c) dissolving europium oxide and oxide dysprosium in diluted hydrochloric acid, adding predetermined quantity of distilled water, stirring for predetermined time to obtain mixed liquid in a suspension state, (d) adding europium oxide and dysprosium oxide mixed solution into graphene oxide dispersion by controlling the reaction time and temperature, and drying in vacuum atmosphere to obtain graphene modified europium/dysprosium powder, (e) adding the mixed powder obtained in step (a) and graphene modified europium/dysprosium powder into a high temperature tubular furnace at predetermined temperature under reducing atmosphere (5% hydrogen and 95% nitrogen) for predetermined time, ball milling, screening to obtain graphene-modified-calcium aluminosilicate europium/dysprosium powder having particle size of about 1-3 mu m, and (f) weighting tungsten carbide based powder having particle size of 1-3 mu m, adding and mixing binder polyvinyl alcohol at predetermined temperature, stirring at predetermined speed, mixing liquid material, and spraying and granulating under vacuum.
