NOVELTY - Synthesis of graphene involves arranging a substrate (10a) comprising a metal thin film (12) in an inner space of a graphene synthesis chamber, depressurizing the inner space, supplying a gas comprising carbon into the inner space, and irradiating a light to the inner space to heat the substrate using a main heating unit. At least one auxiliary heating unit comprising graphite absorbs the light emitted by the main heating unit, and emits radiant heat toward the substrate arranged between the main heating unit and the substrate. USE - Synthesis of graphene (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method effectively produces graphene in high yield within a short period of time. The auxiliary heating unit prevents a sharp increase in temperature, minimizes the loss of radiant energy, reduces heating time, and improves the efficiency of graphene synthesis.
