NOVELTY - Preparing aluminum-based silicon carbide composite material comprises (i) choosing silicon carbide material as matrix material, the carbon material as auxiliary material, and the resin as binder, and adopt the additive manufacturing technology to form the silicon carbide composite material blank of the required structure, (ii) curing silicon carbide composite material blank at 600-1000degreesC to obtain porous silicon carbide/carbon blank, (iii) reaction sintering the porous silicon carbide/carbon body, so that carbon in the porous silicon carbide/carbon body reacts with silicon to form a porous silicon carbide body, (iv) performing silicon carbide densification treatment on the porous silicon carbide body, so that the porosity of the porous silicon carbide body is within a predetermined range, so as to obtain a porous silicon carbide perform. USE - The aluminum-based silicon carbide composite material is used in aerospace, automobile, and ship fields. ADVANTAGE - The method: improves surface carbide preform by sol-gel method, so as to eliminate the bad interface reaction between the aluminum alloy and the silicon-carbide, to improve the interface bonding strength of the aluminum- based silicon-carbon-doped composite material; can adjust the porosity of the silicon carbonide blank porous chemical vapour infiltration or precursor immersion cracking, to obtain the porous volume fraction of the carbon-carbon composite material blank; fills aluminum alloy liquid in the aluminum carbide prefabricated body of the preform to obtain aluminum alloy volume fraction, so that aluminum alloy impregnation can be performed to obtain a high-quality aluminum alloy-based aluminum-carbon alloy reinforced aluminum-bonded composite material.
