NOVELTY - Preparing temperature-sensitive smart window by adjusting response temperature through Hofmeister effect, comprises (1) adding N-isopropylacrylamide (NIPAM) monomer and hydrophilic structural unit to aqueous solution for ultrasonic treatment to obtain dispersion, adding the initiator, introducing nitrogen to remove oxygen, continuously reacting under heating of oil bath, or adding accelerator to react at room temperature, carrying dialysis with deionized water to remove unreacted impurities, and drying to obtain poly-N-isopropylacrylamide (PNIPAM) copolymer; (2) dissolving the poly-N-isopropylacrylamide (PNIPAM) copolymer in salt solutions of different concentrations, and completely dissolving to obtain polymer solution; and (3) sticking a square frame around the transparent substrate, adding the polymer solution obtained in step (2) into box, covering it with another transparent substrate, clamping and fixing, obtaining sandwich structure, that is, temperature-sensitive smart window. USE - The temperature-sensitive smart window is useful in field of energy-saving building, and temperature-sensitive color-changing device. ADVANTAGE - The temperature-sensitive smart window: has adjustable temperature response via Hofmeister effect, good color contrast and cycle stability, simple structure, low preparation cost, uniform structure, stable storage, and excellent performance; and is easy to scale up.
