NOVELTY - The absorber has a patterned hollow circular graphene layer, a dielectric layer and a metal bottom plate layer. The patterned graphene layer is composed of square graphene sheets. The square graphene sheet is cut into a hollow round. The hollow round is periodically arranged in x, y directions. The middle dielectric layer and the graphene layer are tightly connected together. The metal bottom layer is a metal-metal bottom plate. The upper layer is a graphene layer and is the material with adjustable conductivity. The bottom layer metal is used for preventing the terahertz wave from penetrating. USE - Terahertz wave absorber integrated with polarization insensitive, adjustable broadband used in field of spectroscopy, medical imaging, safety, sensing and biological technology. ADVANTAGE - The structure of the wave absorber is simple, symmetrical, using single-layer patterned graphene medium, and substrate layer realizes the polarization of the device is not sensitive and characteristics absorption effect.
