NOVELTY - A graphene structure-type molybdenum sulfide catalyst comprises 2-95 wt.% active component comprising 0.05-30 wt.% metal and 1-95 wt.% molybdenum sulfide, and porous carrier. The metal is cobalt, iron, ruthenium, rhodium, palladium, osmium, iridium, platinum and/or copper. USE - Graphene structure-type molybdenum sulfide catalyst. ADVANTAGE - The method has simple operation, and high yield and repeatability. The catalyst has low cost. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of graphene structure-type molybdenum sulfide catalyst comprising dissolving coordination compound with molybdenum active component and thiuram accelerant in organic solvent, heating under protection of inert atmosphere at 50-120 degrees C, refluxing for 2-10 hours, standing overnight at room temperature for 2-5 hours to obtain precipitate, filtering, washing with pentane, drying at 100-160 degrees C to obtain complex precursor soluble salt, soaking on carrier, heating, and decomposing under argon gas or nitrogen gas atmosphere at 300-800 degrees C for less than 4 hours.
