NOVELTY - A battery (100) has a cathode having carbon nanosheets and cathode active material (113), an anode (130), and an electrolyte (120) located between the cathode and anode. The cathode and anode are impregnated with the electrolyte. The vertically free-standing carbon nanosheets are immersed into the cathode active material with respect to the surface. USE - Battery is used as graphene-based battery. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for manufacture of battery.
