NOVELTY - Heat spreading structure (100) comprises a first substrate layer (102), a second substrate layer (104), and a thermally conductive graphite film (106) which is sandwiched between the first and second substrate layers, where the graphite film comprises a multiple of graphene layers has a turbostratic alignment between adjacent graphene layers. USE - Heat spreading structure. ADVANTAGE - The heat spreading structure has high thermal conductivity and strong air impermeability. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) a method for preparing graphite film for a heat spreading structure, which involves fabricating graphene oxide flakes; forming graphene oxide suspension; shearing graphene oxide flakes to reduce the thickness of the graphene oxide flakes; dry-bubbling forming film of graphene oxide flakes; and performing graphitization by thermal annealing and pressing of the film of graphene oxide flakes, providing a graphite film which comprises graphene layers having a turbostratic alignment between adjacent graphene layers; and (2) a method for manufacturing a heat spreading structure, which involves providing a substrate, attaching a turbostratic graphite film manufactured to a surface of the first substrate; and attaching a second substrate to the turbostratic graphite film to form a laminate structure that comprises the turbostratic graphite film sandwiched between the first substrate and the second substrate.
