NOVELTY - The preparation method of graphene involves grinding more than 90% pure magnesium powder into 200 mesh particles, mixing magnesium powder with sodium chloride, placing the mixture in ceramic container, adding carbon tetrachloride liquid to another ceramic container, vacuumizing the mixture in vacuum furnace at atmospheric pressure of 10 Pa and temperature of 500-550 degrees C, carrying out reduction reaction of carbon tetrachloride with magnesium powder for 1-3 hours, dissolving reaction product in hydrochloric acid and filtering. USE - The method is useful for preparing graphene (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables simple and economical preparation of graphene with high purity.
