NOVELTY - The LCD panel (110) has a first substrate (114) having at a side. A second substrate (116) having a side faces the side of the first substrate. A liquid crystal layer (115) is sandwiched between the side of the first substrate and the side of the second substrate. A graphene film is placed at an outer side of the first substrate opposite the side sandwiching the liquid crystal layer for electrostatic shielding. A protective layer (111) is placed at a side of the graphene film opposite from the first substrate for protecting the LCD panel from damage. USE - LCL panel for use in LCD device (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The LCD panel is effectively protected from damage by the protective layer. The LCD panel is protected from static electricity.
