NOVELTY - Ultraviolet shielding composite coating comprises (in wt.%) graphene (0.1-5), silicon dioxide (80-90) and titanium dioxide (5-15). USE - The ultraviolet shielding composite coating is useful for fluorescent lamp tube. ADVANTAGE - The composite coating has excellent ultraviolet shielding performance, high transmission rate of the visible light, less using amount, and good coating binding force. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing the ultraviolet shielding composite coating, comprising: preparing 100 ml of aqueous oxidized graphene solution (1-50 g/l) by using the secondary distillation water, adding isopropanol (20 ml), adjusting pH value of the solution to 1-2 by using concentrated hydrochloric acid, mechanically blending uniformly, gradually adding titanium tetrachloride (5-150 g/l)/titanium dioxide, blending the solution for 3-12 hours at 70 degrees C, filtering and washing, drying to obtain oxidized graphene-titanium dioxide composite powder; adding the obtained composite powder into anhydrous ethanol to form suspension (50 g) with solid content of 2-4 wt.%, adding ethanol solution of silicon dioxide (80-90 g) with solid content of 10 wt.%, uniformly blending for 2 hours, obtaining the graphene-titanium dioxide-silicon dioxide composite ultraviolet shielding agent; and coating the composite ultraviolet shielding agent at the inner wall of the glass shell of the lamp tube by using dipping method at 60 degrees C and 200 degrees C, respectively drying to cure for 30 minutes, and obtaining the ultraviolet shielding composite coating.
