NOVELTY - One-pot rapid preparation of single layer graphene oxide comprises mixing graphite and concentrated acid or mixed acid, adding strong oxidizing agent and intercalating agent layer, stirring; slowly heating, continuously stirring, cooling, adding concentrated acid or mixed acid, slowly adding strong oxidizing agent, reacting, raising temperature, reacting to get exfoliated graphite sheet; and slowly pouring ice deionized water, adding hydrogen peroxide solution, standing, taking precipitates, washing with diluted hydrochloric acid and deionized water repeatedly, and centrifuging. USE - Method for one-pot rapid preparation of single layer graphene oxide (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method is simple and controllable. It has low energy consumption. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - One-pot rapid preparation of single layer graphene oxide comprises mixing graphite and concentrated acid or mixed acid at 20-50 degrees C for 5-60 minutes, adding strong oxidizing agent and intercalating agent layer, stirring at 20-50 degrees C; slowly heating to 30-100 degrees C, continuously stirring for 1-10 hours, cooling to 20-37 degrees C, adding concentrated acid or mixed acid, slowly adding strong oxidizing agent, reacting at 20-37 degrees C for 0.5-3 hours, raising temperature to safe temperature or below 10 degrees C, reacting for 2-8 hours to get exfoliated graphite sheet; and slowly pouring ice deionized water, adding hydrogen peroxide solution, standing, taking precipitates, washing with 1 mol/L diluted hydrochloric acid and deionized water repeatedly, and centrifuging.
