NOVELTY - The cathode has an electric conduction base plate whose surface is formed with a graphene layer. An outer surface of a graphene sheet is formed with a molybdenum disulfide and/or tungsten disulfide nano-meter layer. Thickness of the molybdenum disulfide and/or tungsten disulfide nano-meter layer is 1-10 mu m. Tthickness of the graphene layer is 1-10nm. USE - Field emission cathode. ADVANTAGE - The cathode has low turn-on field emission, large emission current, high stability of the emission current, and ensures stable performance, and reduces production cost. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for a field emission cathode manufacturing method. DESCRIPTION OF DRAWING(S) - The drawing shows a sectional view of a field emission cathode.
