NOVELTY - Silver nanoparticles coated zinc oxide-graphene hybrid based acetylene gas sensor, comprises a sensor for detecting acetylene gas. USE - Used as silver nanoparticles coated hybrid zinc oxide-graphene based acetylene gas sensor. ADVANTAGE - The silver nanoparticles coated hybrid zinc oxide-graphene based acetylene gas sensor is rapid, has excellent recovery time and good repeatability. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for producing acetylene gas sensor comprising (a) reacting zinc nitrate hexahydrate with sodium hydroxide by thermal synthesis method to produce zinc oxide powder, and drying the zinc oxide powder, (b) mixing zinc oxide powder with graphene to produce zinc oxide graphene, (c) adding silver nitrate in the zinc oxide graphene, adding silver, stirring the resultant, to produce a mixture, (d) adding hydrazine monohydrate agent in the mixture to produce silver coated zinc oxide-graphene, and (e) producing thermoresistive type sensor using silver coated zinc oxide-graphene by dispersion coating process.
