NOVELTY - The preparation of graphene involves adding graphite powder to concentrated sulfuric acid, sodium nitrate and potassium permanganate in an ice bath, reacting, heating, stirring, adding deionized water, heating, mixing, adding hydrogen peroxide, filtering, washing solution, drying to obtain graphite oxide, adding deionized water with graphite oxide, ultrasonically treating to obtain graphene oxide, reducing graphene oxide, extracting graphene oxide solution, adjusting pH value of solution using sodium hydroxide, adding green reducing agent, heating, centrifuging, washing and freeze drying. USE - Preparation of graphene used in lithium ion battery, super capacitor, anti-corrosion coating and military aerospace material by using green reducing agent. ADVANTAGE - The method enables preparation of economical, non-toxic and environmentally-friendly graphene. The graphene has larger surface area, high temperature resistance, anti-corrosion effect, high strength and high electrical properties. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - The preparation of graphene by using green reducing agent involves adding graphite powder to concentrated sulfuric acid, sodium nitrate and potassium permanganate in an ice bath, controlling reaction temperature to 0-20 degrees C, reacting for 0-60 minutes, heating at 35 degrees C, stirring for 30 minutes, slowly adding deionized water, heating at 70-90 degrees C, mixing for 30 minutes, adding hydrogen peroxide, so that solution is changed to bright yellow, carrying out hot filtration, washing solution with 5% hydrochloric acid and deionized water until the filtrate is detected, and drying filter cake to obtain graphite oxide, adding deionized water to obtained graphite oxide, placing in ultrasonic cleaning machine, ultrasonically treating to obtain graphene oxide, reducing graphene oxide, extracting prepared graphene oxide solution, adjusting the pH value of the solution using sodium hydroxide, adding green reducing agent under alkaline condition, stirring reaction, heating, centrifuging after reaction is completed, washing product for several times and freeze drying.
