NOVELTY - Preparation of composite film involves (1), adding graphene oxide into pure water, and ultrasonically stirring at room temperature to obtain graphene oxide dispersion liquid, (2), dissolving polyethylene glycol-400 (PEG-400) in pure water, and ultrasonically stirring at room temperature to obtain PEG solution, (3), adding nanoparticles, zeolite or poly(styrene-divinylbenzene) (PS-DVB) into pure water, and ultrasonically stirring at room temperature to obtain nanoparticles suspension, (4), mixing the graphene oxide dispersion liquid, PEG solution and nanoparticles suspension, ultrasonically stirring at room temperature to obtain a mixed solution, (5), spreading a porous micro-filtration base film into a vacuum suction filter head, uniformly paving the mixed solution, and suction filtering by vacuum self-assembly method to form a film, and (6), drying the film in a vacuum drying box. USE - Preparation of composite film used for absorbing tetracycline in water (claimed) and removing other pollutants in water. ADVANTAGE - The method enables simple and rapid preparation of composite film using mild reaction conditions, minimum instruments and equipment. The graphene oxide composite membrane has excellent hydrophilicity, stability, and high pollutant removal rate.
