NOVELTY - A coating comprises 13-30 vol.% silica sol, 13-30 vol.% graphene oxide dispersion, and 40-75 vol.% polystyrene emulsion composition. The silica sol and the graphene oxide dispersion are equal in volume. The silica sol is prepared by adding hexyl orthosilicate to anhydrous ethanol, stirring uniformly, adding concentrated aqueous ammonia, stirring at 45 degrees C for 12 hours, adding vinyltriethoxysilane to obtain silica sol. The graphene oxide dispersion is prepared by adding 1 pt. wt. graphene oxide to 20-30 pts. wt. deionized water, and ultrasonically treating at power of 60 W for 3 hours. The polystyrene emulsion is prepared by adding styrene monomer to deionized water, adding polyoxymethylene sorbitan monooleate, stirring well to form emulsion, introducing nitrogen to obtained emulsion at 70 degrees C, adding concentration of 3% aqueous ammonium persulfate solution, and performing polymerization reaction for 7 hours. USE - Coating used in preparation of thermally conductive coating (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The coating has large specific surface area, super-hydrophilic-hydrophobic mixed surface and excellent heat transfer performance, and effectively transmits formation of heat. The volume ratio of hexyl orthosilicate, anhydrous ethanol, concentrated aqueous ammonia and vinyltriethoxysilane is 10:(50-120):(2-5):1.The weight ratio of styrene monomer, deionized water, polyoxymethylene sorbitan monooleate and aqueous ammonium persulfate solution is 1:(3-7):(0.05-0.10):(0.1-0.3). An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of thermally conductive coating, which involves immersing carrier to be dissipated in the coating, taking out after 8-10 minutes, taking out for less than or equal to 10 seconds, and drying at room temperature, repeating above operation 3 times, drying, performing heat treatment at 300 degrees C.
