NOVELTY - Angular filter (10) comprises a support (12), and a structure (16) resting on a face (14) of the support and comprising through holes (18) exposing parts of the face. The angular filter is adapted to block the rays of a radiation whose incidence with respect to a direction orthogonal to the face is greater than a threshold and to allow the rays of the radiation to pass whose incidence with respect to a direction orthogonal to the face is less than the threshold. The structure comprises a framework in a material at least partially transparent to the radiation and covered with a coating comprising first molecules absorbing the radiation connected to the material by first covalent bonds. The material comprises resins, preferably epoxy, acrylic, polyacrylic resins or ceramics. USE - The angular filter is used in image acquisition system. ADVANTAGE - The angular filter: can possible to filter light rays having an angle of incidence with respect to a direction orthogonal to the upper face of the angular filter of more than 30 degrees , preferably 3 degrees ; and exhibits improved the mechanical strength. The method can be implemented on an industrial scale. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for manufacturing an angular filter.
