NOVELTY - Preparing graphene modified expanded filament, comprises (1) performing esterification reaction on phthalic acid and ethylene glycol, adding diladder trioxide, triphenyl phosphite and deionized water, and stirring into slurry; (2) adding ethylene glycol terephthalate and graphene oxide into polymerization kettle, when adding, opening nitrogen, stirring graphene copolymerization modified polyethylene terephthalate and graphene oxide, stirring uniformly, heating and opening vacuum pump to obtain graphene modified polyethylene terephthalate; (3) dissolving graphene copolymerization modified polyethylene terephthalate in phenol and tetrachloroethane solution, adding into centrifuge, taking out precipitate, heating and dissolving for 2 hours in tetrachloroethane solution, and centrifuging to obtain final precipitate; and (4) repeatedly washing precipitate by methanol, filtering, spinning, solidifying, stretching, water washing, bleaching, oiling, drying, and rolling. USE - The method is useful for preparing graphene modified expanded filament. ADVANTAGE - The expanded filament has multifunctional integrated filaments e.g. antibacterial, anti-ultraviolet, antistatic and moisture absorption, and has wider range of use.
