NOVELTY - Graphite composite material comprises a shell coated on the inner core. The inner core is provided with graphite. The outer shell is provided with a carbon material doped with nitrogen elements and metal elements. USE - The graphite composite material is used for lithium ion battery. ADVANTAGE - The graphite composite material has higher charge and discharge capacity, excellent rate performance and cycle performance due to the mutual coordination of the nitrogen element and the doped metal element in the outer shell and the mutual cooperation of the outer shell and the inner core. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are also included for: (1) preparing of graphite composite material comprises mixing organic nitrogen source, crosslinking agent and a solvent to obtain a mixed solution, polymerizing mixed solution to obtain a copolymer; mixing the copolymer and the doping metal source, obtaining a doped copolymer; and coating and carbonizing the doped copolymer with graphite to obtain the graphite composite material.
