NOVELTY - Preparing matte anticorrosive graphene oxide vehicle decoration coating comprises (i) adding formaldehyde solution into the container, heating in a water bath, adding melamine to carry out the reaction, adding formic acid, stirring for 40-60 minutes to prepare a milky white solution, cooling to room temperature, centrifuging, washing, and drying at 60 degrees C to produce melamine-formaldehyde resin microspheres; (ii) adding prepared microsphere into absolute ethanol, carrying out ultrasonic dispersion for 1 h, an adding dodecyl ammonium bromide and stirring uniformly to prepare a mixed solution; (iii) dispersing graphene oxide and the tetraethoxysilane ultrasonically in anhydrous ethanol for 2 hours, heating in a water bath, stirring obtained mixture magnetically, filtering and washing to obtain a melamine-formaldehyde resin composite microsphere of graphene oxide doped silica; and (iv) mixing composite microsphere with an acrylic resin and an auxiliary agent. USE - The decoration coating is useful as coating material for decorative materials. ADVANTAGE - The method produces coating with uniform particle size distribution, good dispersibility and matt effect, and anticorrosive property.
