▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - A sustainable agricultural waste, rice husk functionalized graphene oxide nanosorbent is used for adsorption of chromium(VI) (Cr(VI)). USE - A sustainable agricultural waste, rice husk functionalized graphene oxide nanosorbent for adsorption of chromium(VI) (Cr(VI)) for water treatment (claimed). ADVANTAGE - When used in water treatment, the nanosorbent has Cr(VI) uptake efficiency of 943.3962 mg/g. The nanosorbent can be regenerated and reused. A sustainable and ecofriendly material is used to functionalize graphene oxide nanomaterial as sorbent. The in-situ homogeneous reduction and functionalization ability of graphene oxide is facilitated to produce the desired nanosorbent. The sustainable nanosorbent is versatile in the removal of Cr(VI) from contaminated water, and the uptake is quantified by extent of adsorption and its rate. Desirable practical adaptability and handling of nanosorbent is achieved using porous cotton pouches for water purification.
