NOVELTY - Simultaneously preparing high-purity magnesium hydroxide and high-purity graphene comprises adding deionized water into magnesium salt A to prepare 10-40% magnesium salt solution A, and adding deionized water into magnesium salt B to prepare 1-50% magnesium salt solution B, taking graphite as anode and metal plate as cathode, respectively connecting the two electrode plates with the positive and negative poles of the direct current (DC) power supply through wires, providing diaphragm between the anode and cathode electrode plates, where the diaphragm separates the electrolytic cell into an anode chamber and a cathode chamber, adding magnesium salt solution A into the anode chamber, adding magnesium salt solution B into the cathode chamber, turning on the DC power supply, and controlling the current density between the two plates to be 0.1-4 A/cm2 for constant voltage electrolysis, ultrasonically dispersing the product obtained from the anode at 10-100 kHz for 5-60 minutes. USE - The method is useful for simultaneously preparing high-purity magnesium hydroxide and high-purity graphene. ADVANTAGE - The method simultaneously producing high-purity magnesium hydroxide and high-purity graphene in the same device, improves the electric energy utilization rate of the production process, reduces the production cost, has simple process, the device is easy to process, and is suitable for industrialized large-scale production.
