NOVELTY - A ternary composite material comprises nano cerium oxide, noble metal chosen from platinum, palladium and gold, and graphene. The noble metal and cerium oxide are located between the graphene sheets to form a layered structure. USE - Ternary composite material used as cathode for lithium-air battery (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The ternary composite material has improved catalytic activity, and is prepared economically and industrially by simple method at low temperature. The cerium oxide and the noble metal are uniformly distributed, and have small particle size. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for manufacture of ternary composite material.
