NOVELTY - Preparation of liquid crystal composite carbon fibers involves preparing a liquid crystal phase blend dispersion by mixing a liquid crystal aromatic compound composition (a) containing a liquid crystal aromatic compound, and a graphene-based composition (b) containing a graphene-based material and intercalating the aromatic compound into the graphene-based material, removing solvent from the dispersion to obtain a liquid crystal blend mixture, and melt-spinning the blend mixture to obtain spun fibers. USE - Preparation of liquid crystal composite carbon fibers (claimed) used for forming electrical conductor and sensor. ADVANTAGE - The method enables preparation of liquid crystal composite carbon fibers having improved crystallinity, thermal conductivity, electroconductivity, orientation property, and tensile strength, with high yield.
