NOVELTY - The method involves mixing vanadium pentoxide powder, benzyl alcohol and isopropyl alcohol, filtering to obtain vanadium pentoxide sol, distilling and then concentrating, dispersing graphene oxide in deionized water to obtain aqueous graphene oxide dispersion and then adding catalyst, mixing aqueous graphene oxide dispersion and concentrated vanadium pentoxide sol, stirring and then aging to obtain vanadium pentoxide/graphene oxide composite wet gel, soaking in solvent, and drying to obtain vanadium pentoxide/graphene composite aerogel material. USE - The method is useful for preparing vanadium pentoxide/graphene composite aerogel material (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method is capable of easily preparing vanadium pentoxide/graphene composite aerogel material in an economical manner. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - The method involves uniformly mixing vanadium pentoxide powder, benzyl alcohol and isopropyl alcohol and then transferring to a reflux condenser for condensing, filtering the mixture to obtain vanadium pentoxide sol, distilling the vanadium pentoxide sol and then concentrating, dispersing graphene oxide in deionized water to obtain aqueous graphene oxide dispersion and then adding catalyst, mixing the obtained aqueous graphene oxide dispersion and concentrated vanadium pentoxide sol, stirring and then aging to obtain vanadium pentoxide/graphene oxide composite wet gel, soaking the obtained product in solvent and then drying to obtain vanadium pentoxide/graphene composite aerogel material.
