NOVELTY - Manufacture of graphene catalyst involves preparing graphene oxide by processing graphite with oxidizing agent, ball-milling, dissolving resultant product and nitrogen precursor in solvent in reactor, reacting, heat-treating, and drying. USE - Manufacture of graphene catalyst used for polyelectrolyte electrode for fuel cell (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables manufacture of graphene catalyst having high specific surface area, low particle size, excellent activity and oxygen reduction activity. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) graphene catalyst; (2) polyelectrolyte electrode; and (3) fuel cell.
