NOVELTY - Corrosion-inhibiting primer prepared by uniformly mixing 3-8 pt. wt. epoxy resin, 0.5-2 pt. wt. toughening agent, 0.1-1.5 pt. wt. curing agent, 2-5 pt. wt. accelerator/chromate/graphene composite, and 75-95 pt. wt. solvent, co-curing with adhesive film or sealant to bond metal substrates, spraying onto the surface of the metal substrate and pre-curing at 120-130 °C, and then coating an adhesive film or sealant to cure and bond the metal substrate, is claimed. USE - The corrosion-inhibiting primer is useful for structure bonding for inhibiting corrosion bottom glue of large aviation aircraft for glue joint of medium-temperature curing metal bearing structure. ADVANTAGE - The method adopts the lamellar structure of graphene and the chromate on the surface of the lamellae; prevents water molecules from invading epoxy resin and inhibits the corrosion of metal substrates; utilizes the steric hindrance effect and ionic bond complexation of graphene; reduces the reactivity of the substituted urea accelerator; solves the problems of poor heat and humidity resistance and short storage period of the primer of epoxy resin system. The primer has good corrosion resistance and applicability, and meets the needs of large aviation aircraft for corrosion-inhibiting primers and is suitable for medium temperature curing metal Bonding of load-bearing structures.
