▎ 摘  要

NOVELTY - Magnetic element 108 comprises a substantially annular structure, non-magnetic matrix 160, and magnetic particles 162 embedded in the matrix. The matrix is electrically insulating, where the matrix is diamagnetic. The matrix comprises one of temperature stable polymer, a resin, in particular an epoxy resin, and polyimide, where the matrix is solid and/or liquid, where the magnetic particles are one of ferromagnetic, ferrimagnetic, permanent magnetic, soft magnetic, a ferrite, a metal oxide, and an iron alloy, in particular alloyed silicon, where the relative magnetic permeability of the magnetic particles is in a range from 2-1000000, where the magnetic particles are magnetically stable up to 200degrees Celsius. USE - Magnetic element used for manufacturing component carrier. ADVANTAGE - The magnetic element increases the resistivity of the magnetic material and improves the air gap properties and electrical isolation against electrically conductive structures, and improves reliability of the magnetic element and a component carrier implementing such a magnetic element. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: a component carrier, which comprises a stack comprising one electrically conductive layer structure and/or one electrically insulating layer structure, and a magnetic element comprising magnetic particles embedded in a non-magnetic matrix assembled to the stack; a method for manufacturing a magnetic element, which involves embedding magnetic particles in a non-magnetic matrix, and shaping the magnetic element so as to form a substantially annular structure; and a method, which involves providing a component carrier with one magnetic element, the magnetic element comprising a non-magnetic matrix with magnetic particles embedded in the matrix, and adjusting magnetic properties of the component carrier.
