NOVELTY - Cerium nitrate hexahydrate and polyvinyl pyrrolidone are dissolved in solution containing ethanol and water, mixed, reacted, washed, centrifuged and separated. The obtained solid is separated and dried, to obtain ceria powder. Ceria powder and graphene oxide are dispersed in distilled water, shaken and mixed. Silver nitrate, polyvinyl alcohol and isopropanol are added to obtained solution, mixed, irradiated, centrifuged and separated. The obtained solid samples are washed with water and ethanol and dried, to obtain silver/ceria/graphene ternary complex photocatalyst. USE - Preparation of silver/ceria graphene ternary complex photocatalyst (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables preparation of silver/ceria graphene ternary complex photocatalyst having excellent catalytic efficiency and recyclability by simple and stable method. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - 0.1-0.3 g Cerium nitrate hexahydrate and 0.1-0.3 g polyvinyl pyrrolidone are dissolved in 40 mL solution containing ethanol and water in volume ratio of 1:1-3:1, and mixed for 1-3 hours. The obtained solution is provided to sealed reactor, reacted at 100-140 degrees C for 18-24 hours, washed with ethanol and distilled water, high-speed centrifuged and separated, and unreacted ions are removed. The obtained solid is separated by centrifugation and placed in vacuum oven and dried at 80 degrees C for 8-12 hours, to obtain ceria powder. 0.05-0.10 g Ceria powder and 2-8 mg graphene oxide are dispersed in 60-100 mL distilled water, to obtain mixed suspension. The mixed suspension is placed in ultrasonic oscillator, shaken for 4-8 hours and mixed. 0.05-0.40 g Silver nitrate, 0.1-0.3 g polyvinyl alcohol and 5-15 mL isopropanol are added to obtained solution, stirred for 1-2 hours using magnetic stirrer and mixed. The electron beam is irradiated to obtained suspension with radiation dose of 210-350 KGy. The suspension is centrifuged and separated. The obtained solid samples are washed with water and ethanol and dried, to obtain silver/ceria/graphene ternary complex photocatalyst.
