NOVELTY - Preparing high quality reduced graphene involves adding flake graphite to certain amount of fuming nitric acid under ice water bath condition, and then adding hydrogen peroxide with stirring, reacting for period of time, washing with water, drying, puffing in tube microwave oven, obtaining expanded graphite, solid-liquid ratio of flake graphite to fuming nitric acid is 1g:20-25ml, adding expanded graphite obtained to mixed acid of concentrated sulfuric acid and phosphoric acid at 0 degrees C. The volume ratio of concentrated sulfuric acid to phosphoric acid is 11:1-5, stirred for 10-60 minutes. The certain amount of potassium permanganate is added, reacted at 0 degrees C for 24-72 hours, then slowly add dropwise dilute sulfuric acid to terminate reaction. The appropriate amount of hydrogen peroxide is added until no bubbles are generated to obtain graphite oxide solution. USE - Method for preparing high quality reduced graphene. ADVANTAGE - The method enables to prepare high quality reduced graphene that has good foundation for preparation of graphene oxide and graphene-based nanocomposites and quality. The graphene oxide sample obtained is placed in tube furnace for heat treatment, and cooled to room temperature to obtain pre-reduced graphene oxide powder. The pre-reduced graphene oxide powder obtained is placed in cavity of high-energy pulsed microwave reactor, and microwave reaction is turned on for 1-5 seconds to obtain high-quality reduced graphene product.
