NOVELTY - Preparing a copper-based alloy blank involves taking 87 wt.% pure copper ingot, 10 wt.% pure silver ingot, 2 wt.% pure silver powder, and 1 wt.% graphene powder as raw material, where pure silver powder has a diameter of 0.05-100 mu m, and its surface oxide is removed by reduction treatment. The pure copper ingot and pure silver ingot are mixed and heated to 1100 degrees C to melt into an alloy melt for 10 minutes, where melt liquid surface is protected by argon gas, and pure silver powder and graphene powder are added. The alloy melt is fully stirred by mechanical stirring for 1-5 minutes, and alloy melt temperature is lowered to 1000 degrees C and kept for 10-15 minutes so that alloy melt rapidly solidifies and forms a semi-solid mixed structure melt. The melt of semi-solid mixed structure is cast into an abrasive tool cooled by circulating water to prepare an ingot, which is cooled to room temperature at a rate of 80 degrees C/minute to obtain a copper-based alloy blank. USE - Method for preparing a copper-based alloy blank. ADVANTAGE - The method enables to prepare a copper-based alloy blank, which has good electrical conductivity.
