NOVELTY - Azide group-containing polymer (I), is new. USE - The azide-containing polymer group or conductive carbon material-containing polymer is useful in preparing secondary battery for battery module, battery pack and electric device (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The polymer: has strong attraction to commonly used electrolyte solvent molecules; is easy to absorb the electrolyte and thus the polymer can be added to the anode active material layer to improve the adsorption force of the anode sheet to the electrolyte; and can improve the ion conduction ability of the battery and thus improves the cycle performance of the battery. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Azide group-containing polymer of formula (I), is new. A = -C(R9R10)-, -NR11-, -O-, -S-, -C(=O)- or -S(=O)-; R1-R11= 1-6 alkyl (optionally substituted with R12), 1-6C alkoxy (optionally substituted with R13), 2-6C alkenyl (optionally substituted with R14), 6-20 ring atoms aryl (optionally substituted with R15), 5-20 ring atoms heteroaryl (optionally substituted with R16), -H, -D, -OH, -NH2, -NO2, -CF3, -CN or halo; R12-R16= -H, -D, -OH, -NH2, -NO2, -CF3, -CN, halo, methyl, ethyl, methoxy or phenyl; and m/n = 1-100, preferably 50-100. INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for: conductive carbon material-containing polymer of formula (II); econdary battery, comprising a negative pole piece, a separator and a positive pole piece. X = C(R17R18)-, or substituted moieties of formulae (III) or (IV); * = linking site; R17-R28= 1-6C alkyl (optionally substituted with R29), 1-6C alkoxy (optionally substituted with R30), 2-6C alkenyl (optionally substituted with R31), 6-20C (optionally substituted with R32), 5-20C heteroaryl group (optionally substituted with R33), -H, -D, -OH, -NH2, -NO2, -CF3, -CN or halo; R29-R33= -H, -D, -OH, -NH2, -NO2, -CF3, -CN, halo, methyl, ethyl, methoxy or phenyl; and C = conductive carbon material, preferably superconducting carbon, acetylene black, carbon black, Ketjen black, carbon dots, carbon nanotubes, graphene or carbon nanofibers.
