NOVELTY - Preparing carbon-coated high-nickel anode material comprises subjecting nickel cobalt manganese aluminum oxygen complex precursor (NibCocMndAleO2), coating agent and lithium source to wet coating and carbonizing treatment to obtain material, where the coating agent comprises petroleum tar residue oil and graphene slurry in a ratio of 4: (0.01-0.5) and the ratio of the nickel cobalt manganese aluminum oxygen precursor and the coating agent is 100:(3.5-15.0). USE - The carbon-coated high-nickel anode material is useful in Lithium-ion battery (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method is simple; easily obtains raw materials. The carbon-coated high-nickel anode material has good safety and good rate performance. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are also included for: (1) a carbon-coated high-nickel anode material; and (2) a lithium-ion battery.
