ADVANTAGE - The bottle-shaped graphene electrode material has high density, effectively limits the volume expansion of the electrode active material during charging and discharging, and the shuttle effect of charging and discharging products, improves the cycling characteristics and energy density of the electrochemical energy storage device. The processing steps for preparing electrodes from graphene powder are reduced. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of bottle-shaped graphene electrode material, which involves (i) hydrothermally reducing oxidized graphene dispersion to obtain a three-dimensional structured graphene hydrogel, (ii) immersing graphene hydrogel in an acidic component-containing aqueous solution, statically adsorbing for certain time, removing graphene hydrogel, and drying to obtain a graphene-acidic component composite product, (iii) placing the composite product in an oxygen-deficient atmosphere or a reducing atmosphere, heat-treating at certain temperature, removing, diluting with dilute hydrochloric acid and deionized water, and repeatedly purifying.
