NOVELTY - Preparation of intrinsic few-layer graphene involves preparing raw material with dried iron(III) chloride and flake graphite, mixing octylamine and dimethylformamide in certain ratio to prepare expanding agent, sintering the raw materials to obtain iron(III) chloride-graphite intercalation compounds, processing the obtained iron(III) chloride-graphite intercalation compounds with mixed bulking agent, washing the processed iron(III) chloride-graphite intercalation compounds, placing the washed iron(III) chloride-graphite intercalation compounds in pure N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone solvent under ultrasonic liquid phase stripping and centrifugally separating. USE - The method is useful for preparation of intrinsic few-layer graphene (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables simple preparation of intrinsic few-layer graphene with high yield and quality.
