NOVELTY - Silver/graphene oxide composite comprises sheet-shaped silver/graphene oxide composite in which the silver nanoparticles are intercalated between layers of graphene oxide, and the silver nanoparticles are supported on at least one surface of the silver/graphene oxide composite. USE - The silver/graphene oxide composite is used in a conductive material (claimed), such as nanoelectromechanical systems (NEMS) sensors, and as a transparent conductive film material. ADVANTAGE - The silver/graphene oxide composite is manufactured by a simple and easy process under mild conditions around room temperature without using organic solvent in a safe manner. The silver/graphene oxide composite has higher conductivity than graphene oxide. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for producing the silver/graphene oxide composite, comprising oxidizing graphite to produce graphene oxide, and reducing silver nitrate with sodium citrate in a solution of the graphene oxide.
